What is gridwall and how does it differ from slatwall?

3 views  June 1, 2026
Gridwall is a wire mesh panel that mounts to walls or stands freestanding, using welded wire grids to support hooks, baskets, shelves, and other accessories. Unlike slatwall, which uses grooves routed into a panel, gridwall uses an open wire structure. Gridwall is lighter, less expensive, and allows merchandise to be hung at any grid intersection. Slatwall generally supports a wider range of accessories and heavier loads.
